The gîte and its location:
This gîte of excellent standard is located at the entrance to the village. The property occupies a very pretty site. It turns its back on traffic to take advantage of the abundant vegetation and the view of the pleasant coastline. The water rests, runs or cascades over the undulating terrain on the banks of a small river.
Built on the site of a very old mill, the gîte was completely redesigned and converted in 2024 from a carpentry workshop. Rated 4 stars by Atout France and 4 épis by Gîte de France, the gîte is fully equipped.
Children are welcome, but parents should be aware of the need to control their play and movements, given the layout of the premises.
The gîte can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people. It is preferable to rent the whole property. There are two other rental options, one for up to 10 people, the other for up to 6, both of which offer guests the very best the gîte has to offer.

It accommodates up to 14 people in a single building around an impressive common room with a mill wheel below and ground-level access to the outside areas. The configuration and facilities of this complex mean that a group can be organised into 2 sub-groups if required.
In the same way, 2 family friends can combine independence and communal living in excellent conditions.
On the ground floor, an open-plan space with a floor area of 90 m² and a ridge height of 8.5 m, comprising a lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room and 3 WCs. This space can accommodate 14 people at tables or in the lounge. In addition, there is a 45m² room offering a living room / lounge / kitchen / dining area, games and television with independent access to the street.
With this option, the gîte offers 2 kitchens fully equipped with electrical appliances, utensils and crockery, with all household equipment in duplicate except for the tumble dryer and plancha. In keeping with the Jura tradition, guests have access to raclette and fondue machines. Fibre optic cable is available and the television allows all connections.
The bedrooms: on the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds, 2 shower rooms and 2 WCs. The 1st floor offers 4 bedrooms for up to 10 people (1 double bed and 8 twin beds), 3 shower rooms and 1 separate WC.
Outside: Guests have access to a ground-level wooden terrace overlooking a lawn. Another terrace extends out onto the property and the surrounding countryside. Ideal for keeping cool in summer, the suspended, covered north gallery overlooks the orchard, river and coast opposite. A carport or porch can accommodate 2 vehicles or other uses such as table tennis. Easy outdoor parking in the immediate vicinity of the gîte.
Guests have access to the orchard and paths on the property, the stream that cascades alongside the building, the banks of the shallow river that runs alongside the property, the pond and the small canal that crosses the property. Outside the enclosed areas reserved for the gîte, the adults in the group are solely responsible for the safety and behaviour of the children. Wear shoes if you step into the water.
Les "Ateliers du Moulin 10" package:
This package can accommodate up to 10 people and includes the 90m² lounge-dining-kitchen area above the mill wheel, 4 shower rooms (2 of which are en-suite), 4 or 5 bedrooms and all the outdoor areas.
"Les Ateliers du Moulin 6" package:
This package accommodates up to 6 people with the 90m² living-dining-kitchen area above the mill wheel, 3 shower rooms, 3 bedrooms and all the outdoor areas.
Priority is given to the 14-person package. Packages for 6 and 10 people are subject to availability and to express request to the owner before booking (contact us by phone or text message). The price is adapted to each package.
