Coming by car
Poligny is ideally located close to major motorways. The town is 10 minutes from the A39 motorway (exit 7 – Poligny), connecting Dijon to Bourg-en-Bresse, and a few kilometres from the RN83, the main road between Besançon and Lons-le-Saunier. From Lyon (1 hour 50 minutes), Dijon (1 hour), Geneva (1 hour 45 minutes) or Lausanne (1 hour 40 minutes), the journey is direct and smooth. From Paris Porte d'Orléans, the journey takes 3 hours 40 minutes.
Coming by train
Poligny has an SNCF train station located a few minutes from the town centre and the guesthouse. It is served by regular TER trains connecting Belfort, Besançon, Lons-le-Saunier and Lyon. Thanks to connections with TGV lines in Mouchard and Bourg-en-Bresse, it is possible to reach Poligny from Paris in approximately 3 hours (TGV + TER) and from Lyon in approximately 2 hours. A convenient and comfortable solution for travelling without a car.
